Manager of IT Infrastructure

This position will be responsible for the oversight of organizing and execution of all IT infrastructure-related functions within the organization. The Manager of IT Infrastructure will manage all IT operations to meet company needs as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications.  This position will also be responsible for handling all IT infrastructure and help desk tickets.

  1. Manage all IT and network systems for clinical sites and the corporate office.

  2. Develop internal processes and procedures to ensure maximum uptime while minimizing technology disruptions.

  3. Establish and manage Information Technology best practices such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Asset Management.

  4. Manage the Help Desk and successful resolution of tickets within agreed-upon service levels.

  5. Manage IT system remediation and improvement projects, including but not limited to:
         •  Active Directory and email migration and consolidation
         •  VOIP/Telephony consolidation
         •  Network and firewall modernization
         •  Development and operations of Internet and Intranet sites

  6. Manage IT systems and file servers within the Azure Cloud environment.

  7. Develop and implement an enterprise-wide IT security program, including policies and procedures, technical and operational controls, audit and reporting processes.

  8. Performs all other duties as assigned

  • Minimum Qualifications

    • At least 7 years of IT infrastructure and operations experience

    • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software) and networks.

    • Strong IT Service Management (ITSM) process and operational skills and knowledge

    • Demonstrated knowledge of VoIP and phone management.

    • Experience managing IT systems within a healthcare environment.

    • Experience managing third-party vendors, service providers, software providers, and internal staff to ensure timely resolution to IT problems.

    • Experience weighing business risks and enforcing appropriate information security measures in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

    • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Office 365, MS Azure in mid-sized organizations

    • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems (EMR), Healthcare revenue cycle, and privacy/security requirements (HIPAA).

    • Experience creating and communicating Information Technology Business plans that demonstrate return-on-investment and alignment with the business strategy.
