Walk-in care for children (age 5 and older), teens and adults who need to see a licensed mental health clinician right away.
Walk-In Urgent Care
Emergency care for children and teens who are a threat to themselves or others. We work to assess and stabilize patients so they can either go home or move to inpatient care.
MIND 24-7 Phoenix North-Central provides walk-in mental health urgent care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, just like an emergency room or urgent care center—but with a much shorter wait!
When you or someone in your family needs urgent mental health care, simply walk in—no appointment needed. Our average wait times to see a mental health clinician are about 15 minutes from the time you walk in the door.
The MIND 24-7 Phoenix North-Central mental health urgent care clinic does not take appointments. But that’s OK because you never need one! You can walk in any time, day or night, and be seen within 15 to 20 minutes by one of our mental health professionals.
Some of the signs that you or a loved one is experiencing (or nearing) a mental health crisis include:
However, there are many other reasons you might seek mental health urgent care services that are not a crisis. You might be struggling with depression, anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder and you do not have a mental health provider or cannot get an appointment with one. Or maybe you simply do not feel like yourself and want to talk to someone right away.
You may not know exactly what kind of help you need, and that’s OK. The mental health clinicians at MIND 24-7 can help you find the next best step for you.
For example, if you or a loved one is in crisis and needs more intensive care, we will admit you and care for you around the clock until you feel ready to go home—typically within 24 hours. In other cases, the answer might be a prescription medication or a referral to ongoing individual or group counseling.
Insurance coverage should never be a barrier to getting mental health care when you need it. We accept most insurance plans, including AHCCCS (Medicaid), but if you are concerned about coverage, our team is happy to work with you to find the best solution for your personal situation.
When you come to MIND 24-7 to see a therapist or psychiatrist, our providers will evaluate you and develop a personalized treatment plan, including any needed medications, and get you back to your home and life. We also will coordinate any referrals or additional care with your provider(s) of choice.
