What to expect at MIND 24-7

At MIND 24-7, our goal is to provide patients with the walk-in mental health care they need as quickly as possible so they can be on their way again with as little disruption to their routine as possible. We do that by having dedicated teams of mental health professionals who can evaluate, stabilize and care for patients experiencing any number of mental health and substance use issues.

What to bring

All patients

  • Insurance card
  • Photo ID (adult patients and parents/guardians of pediatric patients)
  • Contact information for the patient’s primary care provider and mental/behavioral health provider
  • All current medications

For minor patients in a group home, foster care or under the guardianship of a caregiver other than a parent

  • Guardian paperwork (Notice to Provider for DCS; current Superior Court or Juvenile Court guardianship orders)
  • Contact information for DCS case manager and supervisor

What to expect

The mental health professionals at MIND 24-7 treat all types of mental health and substance use problems from mild depression to crisis-level psychosis. Because every person’s needs are different, every patient’s experience and care plan will look a little different. This is what patients can expect when they come to MIND 24-7.

Step 1

Check in

You will be greeted and then shown to a private room.

Step 2

Meet with our team

We will listen while you tell us your concerns.

Step 3

Get an assessment

We will determine how best to help you—with crisis or express care.

Step 4

Receive your care plan

This may include medication and a referral to a mental health provider or Progressions, our short-term counseling program.

Step 5

Be on your way

Express patients can expect to be in and out in under two hours. Crisis patients are typically discharged in less than 24 hours.
