Kristi R. Stovall | June 1, 2022

As a team of innovators with a mission to transform the delivery of behavioral health care, our MIND 24-7 team changes the lives of people struggling with their mental health every day. Each month our leadership team recognizes recent efforts to go above and beyond to make a difference by members of our team, and has selected the following individuals for the MAY 2022 MIND 24-7 TEAM SPOTLIGHTS to be celebrated company-wide and showcased on all our social platforms. CONGRATULATIONS LISA, VINCENT & CHRISTINA!

Let’s take a minute and get to know them a little better …

What does working for MIND 24-7 mean to you?

Working for MIND 24-7 means that my contributions make a difference. It means that I am constantly challenged and supported by an amazing team of individuals. It means working for a company that puts patients and employees first.

What inspires you to wake up and come to work every day?

The MIND 24-7 mission! Knowing that my work contributes to providing underserved populations with access to mental health services is motivating, and it inspires me to do my best every day. From the top down, everyone wants to make this mission a reality. The leadership has cultivated a unique culture where we all function with this purpose in mind.

What does working for MIND 24-7 mean to you?

To me, working for MIND 24-7, means working towards innovation and leadership for mental health. I have long seen many challenges in the mental health field and am excited about the opportunity that this company presents to make positive changes to archaic systems. For too long, mental health has been on the back burner in society, hidden away. So, to me we are not only serving those in mental health crises, but promoting and furthering the discussion around mental health in society as a whole, which will hopefully lead us to more positive outcomes in the future.

What inspires you to wake up and come to work every day?

I have worked in various roles in healthcare but none has given me as much joy and satisfaction as my current work. To me, working with children and adolescents is a privilege and is one of the most significant and meaningful things that we could be doing. I am inspired by the opportunity to offer hope to others; that despite the challenges that many our clients have been through, that there is possibility for change and a better vision of life for the future. I am inspired by the determination and strength that I see in so many of the people that we serve.

Well, most people who have interacted with me at this point surely knows that I am a golf fanatic, so I won’t speak too much about that subject. When I was 12yrs old my family moved to the west part of England (Somerset), and lived there for about 3 years. I spent my freshman and sophomore year of high school living at a boarding school just outside of London and would travel on a 3 ½ hour train ride back to see my family every few weeks. My roommates and friends at school were from places such as Turkey, South Korea, Russia, and many other continents and countries across the world. To this day, I cite these several years as some of the most influential in my life.

CHRISTINA RUCKER – NURSING

“Christina consistently puts a smile on her face in the most difficult of situations. Christina also has an infectious positivity that she brings to work every day thereby infecting the rest of us on the team and the patients with a positive attitude. I’m grateful to have her on our team regardless of facility location, she has been a great addition to MIND 24-7.”

I’m told I have an intoxicating laugh. I have three great sons, ages 25, 12, & 10 (15 year age gap from oldest to youngest).
